三菱重工浦和レッズレディースの選手たちも、会場へ足を運んだようだ。12日、元日本代表MF阿部勇樹氏の引退試合が埼玉スタジアム2002で行われた。

2021年シーズンをもってスパイクを脱いだ阿部氏。引退試合は浦和のOBを中心としたURAWA ASIAN KINGSと、市原、千葉のOBや当時の日本代表を中心としたJEF・JAPAN FRIENDSの対戦となり、主審は同じく2021年で勇退した家本政明氏、村上伸次氏がそれぞれ前後半を担当した。
阿部氏の息子2人もピッチに立ち、親子共演も果たすなど盛り上がりを見せたゲームは、URAWA ASIAN KINGSが8-2でJEF・JAPAN FRIENDSに勝利。阿部氏自身も3点を決めている。

また、この試合にはレディースの選手たちも招待されていた。
菅澤優衣香や遠藤優らが自身のインスタグラムでスタジアムの様子を公開。背番号「22」のビッグフラッグや会場での記念写真などを投稿した。特に遠藤が作成したまとめ映像には「愛情たっぷりで感謝」、「鳥肌たちました!!編集うま」と、力作を称える声が届いている。

また、菅澤はGK池田咲紀子らとマスコットのレディアやフレンディアとの写真を撮り、遠藤は塩越柚歩と揃いでチュロスを口にするなど、試合以外でも充実の時間を過ごした模様。2人は阿部氏への感謝や労いの言葉を綴るとともに、刺激を受けた自身のレベルアップなどについても残している。

「改めて尊敬します」岡崎慎司がレスターの先輩・阿部勇樹の現地での評価を回想「よく阿部さんの話をされたなー」

「面影そっくり」「普通にうまい」親子共演した阿部勇樹の長男、埼スタで非凡な才能披露「これで中3はやべぇ」

「まじで可愛すぎ」「サッカー選手に見えん」アジア競技大会優勝に貢献した塩越柚歩の私服姿に称賛の嵐「美人すぎる」
