ポグバのW杯欠場が確定…ヒザの回復が間に合わないと代理人が声明

ユベントスのフランス代表MFポール・ポグバ(29)だが、カタール・ワールドカップ(W杯)の欠場が決まった。

マンチェスター・ユナイテッドから今夏にユベントスへと復帰したポグバ。新天地での復活を誓っての移籍となったが、まだプレーができていない。

移籍決定後、シーズン開幕前の7月にヒザを負傷。当初はカタールW杯出場のために手術をしない選択をしていた。

しかし、保存療法では回復が思わしくなく、9月に手術。その後は回復が進み、トレーニングに復帰していたが、間に合わないことが決まった。

エージェントであるラファエラ・ピメンタ氏が声明を発表。ポグバのW杯欠場が決まったとした。

「トリノとピッツバーグで、昨日と今日の医学的な検査を受け、ポール・ポグバが手術から回復する時間がまだ必要であることを伝えるのは非常に辛い」

「そのため、ポールはW杯による中断前にユベントスのチームに加わることも、カタールでのフランス代表のチームに加わることもできない」

フランス代表メンバーは9日に発表。しかし、その前にポグバ不在が確定してしまった。

ポグバの兄マティアス・ポグバに懲役3年の実刑判決…弟に対する恐喝と誘拐の罪
