2019年夏からブライトンでプレーするトロサール。プレミアリーグ初年度から毎シーズン10ゴールに絡む活躍を続けており、今季はすでに7試合で5ゴール2アシストという結果を出している。
とりわけ、直近のリバプール戦でのハットトリックの活躍は鮮烈で、自身をブライトンに誘ってくれたグレアム・ポッター監督率いるチェルシーや以前から関心を示すアーセナルなどプレミアリーグのクラブを中心に、国内外のビッグクラブへの移籍が取り沙汰されている。
その注目のベルギー人アタッカーは、イギリス『BBC』のインタビューで今後の去就に言及。ブライトンでの充実を強調しながらも、ステップアップの可能性を示唆している。
「今、それ(将来の移籍について)について何かを言うのは難しいよ。それは完全にどのクラブが来るかにかかっているからね」
また、ここ最近のゴール量産に関しては、昨季主戦場としたウイングバックから1列前の2シャドーの一角でプレーする機会が増えたことを理由に挙げている。

「クラブの顔!」「めっちゃ良い」三笘薫がメインモデル、ブライトンがアウェイユニフォーム発表! しかし、ファンから総ツッコミ「サッスオーロでしかない」

三笘薫の『EA SPORTS FC 24』での能力値が判明!自身でも予想、「もう少し高くして欲しかった」と不満の能力は?
ブライトン&ホーヴ・アルビオンの日本代表MF三笘薫がプレミアリーグの公式YouTubeチャンネルに出演。29日発売のサッカーゲーム『EA SPORTS FC 24』での自身の能力値を予想した。 長年『FIFA』シリーズを手掛けてきた『EA』だが、『FIFA23』を最後にシリーズを終了。その後継シリーズとして『EA SPORTS FC』が開発され、その第1作目として『EA SPORTS FC 24』が29日に発売される。 今作では、『FIFA』シリーズ同様に、各選手にペース(スピード)、シュート、パス、ドリブル、ディフェンス、フィジカルの能力値が1~99の間で設定されており、その数値をもとにレーティング(総合能力値)が設定されている。 その中で、前作で「82」だったペースについては「86」と予想した中で実際には「84」。三笘は「グッド!」と反応したうえで、「現代のサッカーはスピードが命ぐらい大事だと思うので、僕のプレースタイル的にもこれが無いとやっぱりドリブルは通用しないので必須かなと思っています」とスピードの重要性を語った。 また、前作で「69」だったシュートは「72」と控えめな予想。「73」という実際の能力値にも納得の様子だった。 ただ、前作「68」のパスに関しては「75」予想の「74」。「もう少し高くして欲しかった」としつつも「まずは前向きに良い位置でボールを受けれることを考えていて、ボールを受けたあとはまずドリブルをすべきかパスをすべきかというところを考えますし、一番良い選択肢を考えるようにはしています。よりゴールに直結するようなプレーを考えています」とボールの貰い方で意識することを明かしている。 攻撃的な選手はかなり低めの数値が設定されることの多いディフェンスは、「53」から「57」という結果に。三笘自身の予想は「63」であり、実際のプレーを見ても守備意識の高さはもっと高そうにも見えるが、ゲームの性質上は仕方がなさそうだ。 前作で「62」だったフィジカルについては、「70」と予想した中で「65」という数値に。全体的に厳しめの評価だが、「体の使い方、特に上半身の使い方については上手い方だと思っているので、力を逃がすことは得意かなというのと、なるべく相手に当たらないようにというポジショニングだったり判断は大事かなと思っています」と自信をのぞかせた。 最後に、三笘の最大の武器ともいえるドリブルの能力値。前作は「77」という数値だった中で今作は「85」へとアップ。三笘自身も「85」と予想し、見事な的中には大きな盛り上がりを見せ、三笘も「ベリーハッピー」と能力アップを喜んでいた。 ゲーム内でも高めの評価を得た三笘だが、苦戦した選手について問われると「1人選ぶのは難しいですけど、どのチームのDFも強い選手なので、色んな対策を練るかプレーの選択をしないといけないと思っています。特にイングランド代表のサイドバックの選手はすごく良い選手が多くて、そういった選手たちは手強かったイメージがあります」と答えている。 苦戦した理由についても「凄く速いスピードを持っていますし、フィジカル的なところも強いですし、やっぱり自分より足の速い選手はなかなか難しいのと、やっぱり準備がしっかりしているなというところです」と分析していた。 これらの能力値を総合化したレーティングについては「74」から「80」へと大きくアップ。三笘自身もその能力に納得しているようだった。 <span class="paragraph-title">【動画】三笘薫の『EA SPORTS FC 24』での能力値はこちら(3:47～)</span> <span data-other-div="movie"></span> <script>var video_id ="O9Naiyn0bQo";var video_start = 227;</script><div style="text-align:center;"><div id="player"></div></div><script src="https://web.ultra-soccer.jp/js/youtube_autoplay.js"></script> 2023.09.15 11:55 Fri
