アーセナル、ドウグラス・ルイス獲得を諦めず? 来冬は大争奪戦に発展する可能性も

アーセナルがアストン・ビラのブラジル代表MFドウグラス・ルイス(24)の獲得を諦めていないようだ。

2019年夏にマンチェスター・シティから加入したドウグラス・ルイス。アストン・ビラでは中盤の主力選手として活躍しており、今季は5試合に出場し、第5節のアーセナル戦で左CKを直接ネットへ突き刺すというスーパーゴールを披露している。

そんなドウグラス・ルイスは今夏の移籍市場終盤にアーセナル移籍の報道が加熱。2023年6月までとなっている契約の延長交渉が始まっていないことや、フランス代表MFブバカル・カマラの加入によって序列がやや低下中という背景から、選手本人も移籍を熱望していたとされる。

結局、アーセナルは2500万ポンド(約41億7000万円)のオファーを断られ、ドウグラス・ルイスも残留が決まったが、イギリス『フットボール・ロンドン』によると、MFトーマス・パルティとMFモハメド・エルネニーの相次ぐ故障で中盤センターの陣容に改めて不安を露呈するアーセナルは、来年1月の移籍市場で再び獲得に乗り出す可能性があるとのことだ。

しかし、来冬はライバルも多いようで、イタリア『カルチョメルカート』によると、ミラン、ユベントス、ローマもドウグラス・ルイスを注視。選手の契約状況を踏まえると、来冬は今夏よりも安価で獲得できる公算が高く、リバプールもイングランド代表MFアレックス・オックスレイド=チェンバレン(29)の譲渡を切り札に獲得を模索しているという。
