真意は? マドリー会長のC・ロナウド38歳発言に「気がないんでしょ」「ノーとは言っていない」

マンチェスター・ユナイテッドのポルトガル代表FWクリスティアーノ・ロナウドをめぐるレアル・マドリーの会長の発言が物議を醸しているようだ。

昨夏に12年ぶりのユナイテッド復帰を果たしたロナウドは、昨季のプレミアリーグで30試合に出場して18ゴール3アシストという結果を残した。だが、チームはタイトル争いどころか、チャンピオンズリーグ(CL)の出場権も逃したことから、移籍を希望していると囁かれている。

CL出場権を持つクラブの中で噂に上がっているのがC・ロナウドの古巣、レアル・マドリーだが、会長のフロレンティーノ・ペレス氏は一蹴。ファンから渦中のストライカーとの契約を求められると、「なに?(彼は)38歳だよ」と返答し、その場を去った。

C・ロナウドは現在37歳。シーズン中の来年2月には38歳を迎える。『One Football』が掲載したペレス氏の言動には「38歳って」と指摘する声や、「(歳を間違えるってことは)サインする気がないんでしょ」、「(その質問には)もううんざりだろうね」などのコメントが寄せられている。

ただ、マドリー時代にゴールを量産したFWの加入を望んでいるファンも多く、「ノーとは言っていないね」、「(今季中に)38だけどクオリティはある」、「僕なら(ルカ・)モドリッチは(今年で)37歳ですけどっていうね」と、C・ロナウドへの期待感を示す言葉も上がっている。

プレミアリーグの開幕戦では先発を外れ。ベンチからのスタートとなった"37歳"だが、今後の動向が注視される。

「高価な食べ物はない」ギネス記録樹立、C・ロナウドのあの肉体の秘訣を専属シェフが明かす

カカがブラジル代表に入閣? 恩師アンチェロッティが指揮官就任の来年6月から
