またしても勝てなかったフランス代表だが、ディディエ・デシャン監督はそこまで悲観していないようだ。欧州サッカー連盟の公式サイト『UEFA.com』が報じた。

6日、敵地でUEFAネーションズリーグ(UNL)2022-23リーグA・グループ1第2節のクロアチア代表戦を迎えたフランス。2018年のロシア・ワールドカップ(W杯)決勝再現カードとしても注目されたが、1-1のドローに終わった。デンマーク代表に1-2と逆転負けした初戦からMFオレリアン・チュアメニ以外の10選手を変更したフランスは52分にMFアドリアン・ラビオのゴールで均衡を破ったが、83分に許したPKから失点。2試合続けて勝ちを逃した。

FWカリム・ベンゼマやFWアントワーヌ・グリーズマンら主軸が控えを回して、この試合に挑んだデシャン監督は今年11月に迫るカタールW杯に向けた試しの場としての認識を示した。

「概ね満足。完全にではないがね。2点差にできたのに、最後に追いつかれてしまい、勝利できなかったが、この結果に満足している。この大会はW杯に向けて、あらゆる可能性を試すチャンス。最大限に活用しているところなんだ」

相手が恐れる右手…ストライカーの完成形と呼ばれた男、アラン・シアラー

フランス6部のリュイーヌ・スポールは23日、元フランス代表DFジェレミー・マテュー(39)が現役引退することを発表した。フランス代表として5キャップを持つ、大型左サイドバック兼センターバックのマテューは、ソショー、トゥールーズを経て、2009年夏にバレンシアに移籍。バレンシアでコンスタントに活躍すると、2014年夏にバルセロナに移籍した。バルセロナでは在籍3年で2度のラ・リーガ優勝、1度のチャンピオンズリーグ優勝を経験。その後、スポルティングCPで3季プレーし、2019-20シーズンをもっての引退を発表していたが、2021年夏に現役復帰しリュイーヌ・スポールに加入していた。 2023.10.23 23:20 Mon
