アストン・ビラ、獲得で合意していたセビージャDFジエゴ・カルロスとの4年契約を発表

アストン・ビラは1日、セビージャのブラジル人DFジエゴ・カルロス(29)を完全移籍で獲得したことを発表した。

契約期間は2026年6月30日までの4年間。移籍金は非公開とされているが、イギリス『BBC』によると2600万ポンド(約41億6500万円)と見られている。

すでにクラブ間合意が発表されていたジエゴ・カルロスだが、個人的な契約条件に合意。また、メディカルチェックも完了したため、契約締結となった。

ジエゴ・カルロスは2019年7月にナントからセビージャへと完全移籍で加入。センターバックの主力として公式戦136試合に出場し6ゴール1アシストを記録していた。加入1年目の2019-20シーズンにはヨーロッパリーグ(EL)制覇に貢献していた。

ブラジル代表には2020年に招集歴があるものの出場はなし。しかし、昨年の東京オリンピックにはオーバーエイジとして参加し、6試合に出場して金メダルを獲得していた。

アストン・ビラはバルセロナからレンタル移籍で加入していたブラジル代表MFフィリペ・コウチーニョを完全移籍で獲得した他、マルセイユからフランス代表MFブバカル・カマラ(22)を完全移籍で獲得しており、3人目の補強となる。

アストン・ビラがスタジアム改修をスタート、ユーロ2028の会場となり5万人収容に変貌へ
