ポルトガル代表のMFベルナルド・シウバが必勝を期した。『UEFA.com』がコメントを伝えている。

29日に行われるカタール・ワールドカップ(W杯)欧州予選プレーオフ(PO)パスCの決勝で北マケドニア代表と対戦するポルトガル。準決勝のトルコ代表戦では、FWジオゴ・ジョタの強烈なヘディングシュートを含む3ゴールを挙げ、3-1でW杯出場を懸けた大一番に駒を進めた。

対する北マケドニアはグループJでもドイツ代表を破ったなか、先の準決勝でイタリア代表を撃破。いち躍ダークホースとして存在感を高めるが、B・シウバも警戒心を示しつつ、全力で臨むと語った。

「北マケドニアがここまで来れたのは彼らにその力があるからだよ。ポゼッションのスタッツとかは関係なく、ドイツとイタリアに勝ったのだから、強く、まとまりのあるチームに違いない。僕らの前に困難な課題があって、それを克服するために全力で戦わなきゃいけないことを教えてくれているんだ」

「高価な食べ物はない」ギネス記録樹立、C・ロナウドのあの肉体の秘訣を専属シェフが明かす
