原口元気、ヘルタ時代のチームメイトとシドニーで再会しユニフォーム交換

日本代表MF原口元気(ウニオン・ベルリン)がヘルタ・ベルリン時代のチームメイトとオーストラリアで再開を果たした。

24日、カタール・ワールドカップ(W杯)アジア最終予選のオーストラリア代表vs日本代表が、シドニーのスタジアム・オーストラリアで行われた。

互いにシュートチャンスの多かったオープンな前半をゴールレスで終えると、後半途中出場の三笘薫が圧巻2ゴールを挙げて2-0で勝利。7大会連続7度目のW杯出場を決めた。

殊勲の三笘とともに84分から投入された原口も、効果的な持ち運びと周囲を使う判断の良さ、守備への献身などで短い時間ながらも重要な役割を果たしている。

その原口はシドニーでヘルタ・ベルリン時代のチームメイトと再開を果たしたようだ。相手はドイツ人MFアレクサンダー・バウムヨハン。2014-15シーズンから216-17にかけて、同チームでプレーしていた。

バウムヨハンは2016-17シーズン後にブラジルのクラブでプレーし、2018-19シーズンからウエスタン・シドニー・ワンダラーズ(WSW)に、翌シーズンからはシドニーFCへ加わっている。

現在もシドニーに滞在しているバウムヨハンは、原口とユニフォームを交換した様子を自身のインスタグラムに投稿。「旧友に会えるのはいつだって嬉しいことだね」との想いを綴っている。

ソックスは「赤」、日本代表のアウェイユニフォームが発表!南野拓実「美しい日本のイメージが表現」

「伝説のカウンター」あれから丸3年…日本が世界の力を感じたベルギーのスペシャルなカウンターが再脚光

“ゴリラ”と勘違い?長友と子供の会話に吉田たちも大爆笑「俺図鑑に載ってた!?」
