11日、明治安田生命J1リーグ第4節の神戸vs鹿島が行われ、0-2で神戸は敗れた。
リーグ戦5戦未勝利、3分け2敗と勝利がまだない神戸。さらにケガ人が出るなどする中、15日に控えるAFCチャンピオンズリーグ(ACL)のプレーオフを見据えてメンバーを変えて臨んだ。
しかし開始7分にCKの流れから、三竿健斗に決められて失点すると、0-1で迎えた後半には鈴木優磨に決められリードを広げられる。
0-2になる直前にベンチスタートとなったアンドレス・イニエスタとセルジ・サンペールを投入しようとしたが、結果0-2からの投入に。その後は何度か鹿島ゴールに迫るも、集中した相手の守備を崩せず、そのまま敗れた。
後半も難しい展開となったが、「徐々にオープンな展開になっていて、相手はリードしていたのでゴール前を固めていました」と語り、「動き出しやポジショニングで変わったと思うので、しっかり映像を見て分析したいと思います」と、自身のプレーを振り返りたいとした。
15日にはACLのプレーオフでメルボルン・ビクトリーと対戦。勝たなければ、ACLに出場することはできない大事な一戦だ。小田は「凄く大事な試合ですし、次の試合で勝って、リーグ戦に流れを持って来れるように、死に物狂いでやりたいと思います」と語り、必勝を誓った。

ブラジル人Jリーガーがネイマールやヴィニシウスら“現役セレソン”と肩組みショット披露!「また会えて嬉しいよ兄弟」

神戸、レギュレーション違反でACLのユニフォームデザインを変更…シンプルなものに

「スペインより日本の方が長い」来日5年のイニエスタが8歳長男の誕生日を祝福!「お父さんにそっくり」
