ユベントスがアメリカ代表MFウェストン・マッケニーの検査結果を報告した。

マッケニーは27日にホームで行われたセリエA第14節のアタランタ戦にも先発したが、60分頃に右ヒザを手で抑えて倒れ込み、一旦ピッチ外に。そのままプレーに戻れず、FWモイゼ・ケアンとの交代で退いた。

検査の結果、右ヒザじん帯の損傷こそ回避したが、経過を見守ることに。イタリア『ガゼッタ・デッロ・スポルト』によれば、ミッドウィークの30日に行われる次節のサレルニターナ戦に間に合わない模様だ。

アタランタ戦でも汗っかき役としてだけでなく、前線への飛び出しで存在感を示したマッケニー。マッシミリアーノ・アレッグリ体制の今季も主力として重宝され、公式戦16試合の出場で2得点を決めている。

公式戦2連敗中と低調のなかで、同じくアタランタ戦で左ハムストリングを痛め、年明けの復帰が予想されるFWフェデリコ・キエーザとともに、マッケニーも負傷のユベントス。台所事情も苦しいが、挽回なるか。
