スアレスがウルグアイ代表不参加ビジャレアル戦で負傷交代

ウルグアイサッカー協会(AUF)は29日、アトレティコ・マドリーのFWルイス・スアレスの同国代表招集を見送ると発表した。

スアレスは29日に行われたラ・リーガ第3節のビジャレアル戦に先発。56分に得点を決めるなど活躍したが、後半途中から左足を引きずるような動きを見せると、70分にピッチを退いた。

AUFはスアレスが左ヒザに炎症を起こしたと説明。理学療法を受けながら、1週間の安静期間を取り、それから徐々に復帰を目指していくという。

また、AUFはスポルティング・リスボンに所属するDFセバスティアン・コアテスの招集見送りも併せて発表。こちらは右ヒザに炎症性の痛みがあり、リハビリ中のようだ。

9月の代表ウィークでカタール・ワールドカップ(W杯)南米予選3試合に臨むウルグアイは9月2日にペルー代表とのアウェイ戦後、同月5日にホームでボリビア代表と対戦。同月9日も再びホーム戦となり、エクアドル代表と相対する。

“つり目”ポーズのU-20ウルグアイ代表MFバルベルデが人種差別を否定も謝罪

右ヒザ半月板の損傷を抱えるスアレスが手術を敢行へ
