クロアチア代表ペリシッチが新型コロナ感染…スペイン戦に暗雲

いよいよユーロ2020決勝トーナメントの戦いが始まるクロアチア代表だが、チーム内から新型コロナウイルス感染者が出たようだ。

クロアチアサッカー連盟(HNS)は26日、定期的に実施する新型コロナウイルスの検査結果を公表。他の代表メンバー全員が陰性判定だったなか、MFイバン・ペリシッチのみが陽性判定を受けたという。

これを受けて、ペリシッチは10日間の自主隔離に入り、その間の代表活動も停止。クロアチアは28日にコペンハーゲンでラウンド16のスペイン代表戦に臨むが、ペリシッチという主軸の1人を欠いての戦いが決定した。
主将のMFルカ・モドリッチとともにチームを牽引するペリシッチはここまでグループステージ全3試合に先発して、2得点1アシストと活躍。ここ2試合連発中と調子が良かっただけに、無念の知らせとなってしまった。

「ショック」「史上最悪」クロアチア代表のW杯ユニ、伝統の市松模様が不均衡なホームは酷評の嵐…アウェイには好意的意見

“世界で最もセクシーなサッカー選手”と称された女子選手が反論「嫌だった」
