フランス代表に朗報! 負傷交代のベンゼマは大事に至らず

ブルガリア代表戦で負傷交代したフランス代表FWカリム・ベンゼマだが、大事には至らなかったようだ。フランス『レキップ』が伝えている。

フランスは8日、ユーロ2020前最後のテストマッチでブルガリアと対戦し、3-0で勝利した。3-0で快勝したウェールズ代表戦に続く快勝で本大会に弾みを付けた一方、この試合ではベンゼマの負傷というアクシデントが発生していた。

2試合連続でスタメン起用となったベンゼマは、前半半ば過ぎにボックス内での競り合いの際に相手と交錯。右ヒザの少し上辺りを抑えて苦悶の表情を浮かべると、一度ピッチサイドで治療を受けてプレーを再開したが、自ら交代を要求しFWオリヴィエ・ジルーとの交代で41分にピッチを後にした。

このケガによって戦線離脱の不安も出てきたが、ハーフタイムに中継局『M6』のインタビューに応じたディディエ・デシャン監督は、ベンゼマのケガが軽傷であることを明らかにした。

「単なる打撲だ」

「彼は右ヒザの上の筋肉を強く打ってしまった。我々はいかなるリスクも冒したくない。メディカルスタッフは彼の傍で状態をチェックする」

なお、デシャン監督の説明を裏付けるように、ハーフタイムに簡単な治療を受けたベンゼマは、チームメイトと共にスタンドから後半の試合を見守っており、大事には至らなかったようだ。

ただ、患部に腫れが残るなど回復が思わしくない場合は、15日に行われるドイツ代表とのグループリーグ初戦を欠場する可能性はありそうだ。

「鶏デカすぎ」「ケンタッキーとのコラボか?」フランス代表の新ユニフォームにはビッグサイズのロゴが採用「巨大すぎない?」
