FA(イングランドサッカー協会)は13日、チェルシーDFベン・チルウェルと、アトレティコ・マドリーDFキーラン・トリッピアーがイングランド代表から離脱したことを発表した。

詳細は明かされていないが、イギリス『スカイ・スポーツ』によれば、チルウェルは足のケガ、トリッピアーは個人的理由とのこと。

現在、UEFAネーションズリーグを戦うイングランド代表は、11日に行われたリーグA・グループ2第3節のベルギー代表戦に勝利し首位に浮上。14日にはデンマーク代表戦が控えていたが、両選手は欠場することになった。
チルウェルに関しては、代表招集直前にチェルシーでチームメイトのFWタミー・エイブラハムの誕生日パーティーに出席していたことが発覚し、新型コロナウイルス対策プロトコル無視に対する処分として8日のウェールズ代表との親善試合はお預けに。また、ベルギー戦もベンチ外となっていたため、今回の招集では一度も代表でプレーすることはなかった。

FIFA公式がロシアW杯ベストイレブンを発表! ヤングやパウリーニョら“クセがすごい”選出も…

北中米W杯の欧州予選組み合わせ決定! 12カ国+POの4カ国が出場権獲得、来年3月からスタート【2026年北中米W杯欧州予選】

イングランド代表のユニフォームが変? ファンが気づいた異変はベテランキットマンのまさかのミス…「間違ってしまった」

ブリッジは“不倫男”テリーを未だに許さず? 自身の近くに引っ越し発覚後、自宅を売却に出す
