Jリーグ有数の戦力を誇る神戸を指揮したフィンク監督は、2019シーズンの天皇杯で鹿島アントラーズを下しクラブに初タイトルをもたらし、今シーズンはAFCチャンピオンズリーグ(ACL)に出場していた。
フィンク監督はドイツ『SPOX』で自身のキャリアについてコメントし、今シーズン限りで切れる契約を持って退任する意向を示し、家族の問題もありヨーロッパに戻りたいと語った。

欧州23-24シーズンの先陣を切って7月28日に開幕したベルギー1部。現時点で日本人選手16人が挑んでいる同リーグにおいて、ひと際、注目されるのが、2013年J1前半戦で7ゴールを叩き出した伊藤涼太郎(シント=トロイデン)だろう。 「今季の目標は2ケタ得点・2ケタアシスト。攻撃の選手としては数字にこだわらないといけないですし、ボールを持った時の違いも見せていきたいと思っています。(日本とベルギーは)サッカー自体が別物で、日本でやってきた得点数や肩書は通用しないけど、自分のスタイルやストロングは通用するという感覚は今のところ持てている。観客を湧かせられるプレーを見せたいです」 7月20日の開幕前会見の際、彼は新天地での抱負を語っていたが、トルステン・フィンク監督の評価も日に日に高まっていった様子だ。充実したプレシーズンを送れたことで、伊藤は30日のスタンダール・リエージュ戦でスタメン入り。念願の海外デビューを飾ることになったのだ。 昨季までのシント=トロイデンは守備的なスタイルを志向。失点数はリーグトップ5に入っていたが、得点力不足という課題を克服できないまま、レギュラーシーズン12位という結果に終わった。しかしながら、今季から指揮を執るフィンク監督は、ボール保持とパスワークを重視したアクションサッカーを志向。日本人屈指の技巧派である伊藤をキーマンの1人と位置づけている模様だ。 実際、スタンダール戦を見ると、伊藤は当初、ボランチの位置からスタート。マティアス・デロージをサポートしつつ前へ出て、彼とタテ関係になっていった。 その後、時間を追うごとにデロージがアンカー気味になり、伊藤とヤルネ・ストウカースが両インサイドハーフ(IH)的なポジションへ。さらには、前線のアブバカリ・コイタも下がって左サイドに入り、伊藤がトップ下に位置。ダイヤモンド型のような中盤を形成する場面も見られた。こうした変化を見ても分かる通り、今季のシント=トロイデンの中盤はかなり流動的なスタイルを採っているようだ。 こうした中、伊藤は積極的にボールを触って攻めを組み立てようという意識が色濃く感じられた。前半13分のペナルティエリア外からの強烈シュートは1つの象徴。強気で前向きな姿勢はアルビレックス新潟時代と全く変わらない印象だった。 それを継続していれば、いつか必ず結果はついてくるのではないか…。そんな期待感を抱かせるこの日の65分間のプレーだった。 最終的にシント=トロイデンは終盤に1点をもぎ取り、開幕戦を1-0で勝利。白星発進してみせた。順調な歩みを踏み出せたことで、伊藤も安堵感を覚えたのではないか。 「チームとして勝てたのは大事なことですし、嬉しいことですけど、個人的にはもっとできたなと思います。嬉しい反面、悔しい気持ちもあります」 試合後のインタビューで率直な思いを口にした伊藤。やはり目に見える結果を残さなければ生き残れないという危機感が強いのだろう。そんな試合を通して、課題に直面したことも認めていた。 「自分がターンした時にボールをさらわれてしまう場面があったので、そこの強度やスピード感には少しビックリした部分もありました」と彼はストレートに言う。 欧州に行けば、マークに来る選手の寄せや間合いの詰め方が違うというのは多くの選手が語っていること。国際経験の少ない伊藤は改めて厳しさを感じたことだろう。 ただ、「攻撃のビルドアップや相手をかわすところは多少できていた」と手ごたえも感じた様子。それを積み重ねて自信にしていけば、ゴールやアシストという結果につながってくるはずだ。 むしろ、ベルギー1部では目覚ましい結果を残してこそ、初めてステップアップの道が開けてくる。彼自身がシント=トロイデン移籍を決断したのは、同クラブから冨安健洋(アーセナル)、遠藤航(シュツットガルト)、鎌田大地といった面々が飛躍していったから。自らもその軌跡を歩むことを彼は思い描いているのだ。 特に同じ攻撃的MFの鎌田は伊藤にとっての理想モデルではないか。鎌田のように欧州5大リーグへ駆け上がり、UEFAヨーロッパリーグ制覇を経験し、さらにはUEFAチャンピオンズリーグの舞台にも立てるようになれば、日本代表入りも十分可能になる。 25歳という年齢は決して若くないだけに、彼には足踏みしている時間はない。一気に突き進むべく、貪欲に高みを目指していくべきだ。 今回のスタンダール戦はそういった決意を新たにするいい機会になったはず。ここからの伊藤涼太郎の本領発揮を楽しみに待ちたい。 2023.08.01 11:30 Tue

柏が神戸戦の汰木康也の負傷に謝罪声明…昨季は齊藤未月が重傷「1日も早く回復されることを心よりお祈りしております」
柏レイソルは11日、ヴィッセル神戸戦での事象について謝罪の声明を発表した。 2日、明治安田J1リーグ第2節で柏はアウェイで神戸と対戦。前半途中に空中戦で競り合った際に神戸のMF汰木康也が脇腹にヒザが入る形となり負傷していた。 神戸の三木谷浩史会長はこの試合でのプレーについて言及。「同じチーム相手に二人目の大怪我。しかも両方ともカードもなし。なんで新らしいリーグかつサッカー先進国でもないアメリカのMLSから審判を呼ぶ必要があったのか。JリーグもJFAも真面目に考えて欲しいと思う」と試合後にX(旧ツイッター)で投稿。2023シーズンには同カードでMF齊藤未月が全治1年の重傷を負っていただけに、2年連続で重傷者が出ていたことを批判していた。 そんな中2日、神戸は汰木の負傷状況について発表。左多発肋骨骨折と外傷性血気胸と診断され、全治は6～8週間としていた。 柏も2日に声明を発表。汰木の負傷について言及し、謝罪した。 「3月2日(土)に行われた2024明治安田J1リーグ第2節・ヴィッセル神戸戦におきまして、ヴィッセル神戸の汰木康也選手が弊クラブ選手との接触により、重傷を負う事象が発生しました」 「試合後から弊クラブより先方にお詫びさせていただいておりますが、汰木選手やチーム関係方々にお見舞いを申し上げるとともに、1日も早く回復されることを心よりお祈りしております」 「弊クラブでは引き続きスポーツマンシップとフェアプレー精神に則って試合に臨むようチーム一同努めてまいります」 2024.03.11 11:35 Mon
