フランスサッカー連盟(FFF)は28日、リヨンに所属するMFフセム・アワールが新型コロナウイルスの陽性反応が確認されたことを受け、フランス代表を辞退することを発表した。

アワールは今回がレ・ブルー初招集も、代表メンバー発表の翌日にコロナウイルスの陽性反応が確認され、今後14日間の隔離措置が必要なため、無念の代表辞退となった。

そして、代替メンバーには元リヨンのキャプテンであり、ベティスの主力として活躍するFWナビル・フェキルが選出されている。
なお、フランス代表はUEFAネーションズリーグ2020-21で9月5日にスウェーデン代表(アウェイ)、同8日にクロアチア代表(ホーム)と対戦する。

FWラカゼットやDFズマが復帰! フランス代表が招集メンバー26名を発表!!《ロシアW杯欧州予選》
