決勝点アシストの仏代表FW、豪代表の奮闘を称賛「GLを突破してほしい」

フランス代表FWオリヴィエ・ジルーは、2018FIFAワールドカップ・ロシアのグループリーグ初戦で対戦したオーストラリア代表を称賛した。『オプタス・スポーツ』に語っている。

ロシアW杯の優勝候補筆頭に挙げられるフランスは16日、グループCの第1戦でオーストラリアと対戦。試合前の予想を裏切る接戦となるも、疑惑を呼んだVAR(ビデオ・アシスタント・レフェリー)により与えられたPKと、ゴールライン・テクノロジーにより認められたゴールにより、フランスが2-1で辛うじて勝利を収めた。

この試合で後半途中から出場し、ゴールラインテクノロジーで判定されたMFポール・ポグバのゴールをアシストしたジルーは試合後に対戦相手をたたえた。

「オーストラリアの人たちには彼らのチームを誇りに思っていいと伝えたいよ。質の高いプレーを見せ、最後まで諦めていなかった。彼らにはセカンドステージ(決勝トーナメント)に進出してほしいよ」

初戦を白星で飾ったフランス代表は現地時間21日、グループリーグ第2戦でペルー代表と対戦。オーストラリア代表は同日、デンマーク代表と対戦する。

アジアカップの組み合わせ抽選ポット分けが発表! アジア最高位の日本はポット1に

アジアサッカー連盟(AFC)は7日、5月11日に行われるアジアカップの組み合わせ抽選会に向けたポット分けを発表した。今年6月に中国で開催予定だったアジアカップ2023。しかし、新型コロナウイルス(COVID-19)の感染拡大の影響もあり、2022年に開催断念が決定。新たな開催地がカタールに決まっていた。その結果、開催時期が半年後ろ倒しとなり、2024年1月12日に開幕することが決定。本大会の組み合わせ抽選は5月に行われる中、そのポット分けが決まった。日本はポット1に入り、開催国でありディフェンディングチャンピオンであるカタールの他、イラン、韓国、オーストラリア、サウジアラビアとグループステージで当たることは無くなった。ポット2にはイラク、UAE、オマーン、ウズベキスタン、中国、ヨルダンと実力国が入ることとなっている。出場全24カ国はグループAからFまで4カ国ずつ振り分けられ、上位2カ国と3位の中の上位4カ国がラウンド16に進出する。【ポット1】カタール日本イラン韓国オーストラリアサウジアラビア【ポット2】イラク UAE オマーンウズベキスタン中国ヨルダン【ポット3】バーレーンシリアパレスチナベトナムキルギスレバノン【ポット4】インドタジキスタンタイマレーシア香港インドネシア 2023.04.07 21:30 Fri
