ロシアW杯で優勝を狙うフランス代表の中盤を支えるポグバだが、3-1で勝利したイタリアとの親善試合では自国サポーターからブーイングを浴びせられていた。
しかし、98年の自国開催のW杯優勝メンバーであるデサイー氏は、ポグバを「私の世代のどのMFよりも才能がある」と絶賛。25歳のMFへの過剰な要求に苦言を呈した。
「彼は長い間、周囲のプレッシャーに悩まされてきた。彼のポテンシャルは誰もが知っているが、私たちの要求は行き過ぎている」
さらに、ポグバの才能を活かすには周りの選手がサポートする必要があると感じているようだ。

「フランス代表を引退しようとした」ムバッペが告白「猿呼ばわりされて…」
パリ・サンジェルマンのFWキリアン・ムバッペが、フランス代表からの引退を考えていたことを明かした。 カタール・ワールドカップの開幕が間近に迫り、先日発表されたフランス代表のメンバーに選ばれたムバッペ。だが、最近の『Sports Illustrated』のインタビューで語ったところでは、フランス代表を引退することを考えていた時期もあったようだ。 曰く、きっかけは昨夏のユーロ2020。ラウンド16でスイス代表と対戦した際、PK戦でシュートを止められ敗戦の原因のひとつとなってしまったムバッペには、サポーターから罵詈雑言を浴びせられた。SNS上では過度な侮辱的ツイートをした19歳の青年が後に有罪判決を受け、罰金を課せられるまでに。 ムバッペはその後、フランスサッカー協会(FFF)のル・グラエ会長と話し合いの場を持ったというが、人種差別について取り合ってくれず、サポートは一切なかったという。同会長に関しては、過去に「黒人プレーヤーがゴールを決めると、スタジアム全体が沸き立つ。フットボール界に人種差別はほとんどない」などの発言をしており、横行する人種差別に対して対岸の火事を装い、多くの非難を浴び続けている。 そのため、フランス代表のために戦う意欲を失いかけたというムバッペ。しかし、周囲と話し合った結果、「諦めることが正しいメッセージではないと判断した」と、引退を考え直したという。 「僕はみんなのお手本だと思う。これが新しいフランスだ。だから代表を諦めなかった。これは若い世代への『僕たちは強いんだぞ』というメッセージだ」 2022.11.11 20:15 Fri

カマヴィンガが仏代表デビュー! ここ100年では史上最年少記録に
