11月中旬にはイギリスのテレビ『TalkTV』のインタビューでクラブの内部批判を展開。これを受けて、クラブは「しかるべき措置の開始」を明らかにし、22日に契約解除を発表した。
カタール・ワールドカップ(W杯)後の去就に注目が集まるロナウドだが、アメリカ『CBC』はサウジアラビアのアル・ナスルが同選手にオファーを送ったと報道。7500万ドル(約104億円)もの年俸で3年契約が提示されているようだ。
また、『CBC』によれば、現在国内のライバルであるアル・ヒラルをはじめ中東の他のクラブもロナウド獲得に関心を寄せている中、アル・ナスルはすでに今夏から接触している模様。代理人との幅広い話し合いを通して、交渉は比較的進んでいると見られており、同選手の最終判断を待つ段階まで来ているようだ。

音声データ流出のペレス会長、C・ロナウドとモウリーニョを酷評「2人とも異常者」

C・ロナウドは破局したら毎月1600万円を支払い? 「妻」と呼んで話題のジョルジーナさんとの間に契約が発覚

C・ロナウドと事実婚状態のジョルジーナさん、結婚について言及「いつか式が挙げられるはず」
