アルゼンチン女子代表戦を控えるなでしこジャパンのDF石川璃音(三菱重工浦和レッズレディース)が22日、前日練習を終えてメディアの取材に応じた。

オーストラリア&ニュージーランド女子ワールドカップ(W杯)では印象に残る戦いを披露し、ベスト8という成績を残したなでしこジャパン。大会後初となる対外試合として23日、北九州スタジアムにアルゼンチンを迎える。

10月下旬に予定されているパリ・オリンピックアジア2次予選前では唯一となる強化試合。チームにとっても、各選手にとっても貴重な実践の場となる。
20歳でW杯の舞台を経験し、将来的にはなでしこの主軸を担うことが期待される石川は「ワールドカップを終えて、自分自身で取り組んでいることをそのまま代表でも出せたらいい」と、ヘディングやフィードにさらに磨きをかけつつも、試合に向けては自然体だ。

一方で、大会を通じてさらなる責任感も芽生えた様子。女子W杯を受けての盛り上がりを継続するためにも、続くパリ・オリンピックでの結果も求める。
「女子サッカーを盛り上げるためには、なでしこジャパンが勝たないといけないと、強く思った大会でした。予選を勝ち抜けば、来年またオリンピックに出ることができるので、ベスト8以上の結果を出せるように、積み上げてきたものをまたさらにオリンピックで見せられるようにみんなで頑張りたいと思います」

件のW杯では、初戦のザンビア女子代表戦で3バックの右を務めたが、以降は三宅史織(INAC神戸レオネッサ)、高橋はな(三菱重工浦和レッズレディース)と、先輩の姿を見届けることに。チームが新たに4バックを採用するとなれば、競争はさらに激化する。

その中でも「個人としては、選手としてやっている以上、出場したいという思いはあります。そのためにチームのみんなに信頼されるよう、チームプレーを出し、自分の(武器である)対人の強さも見せられたらいい」と、意欲を燃やした。

なでしこジャパン、熊谷紗希ら女子W杯メンバー発表! 岩渕真奈は落選

浦和戦経て新潟L・石淵萌実が自身に向けるベクトル「もっとゴールへの怖さを」

アルビレックス新潟レディースのFW石淵萌実が、三菱重工浦和レッズレディース戦を終えての想いを口にした。 2023-24 WEリーグで勝ち点26の3位に付ける新潟Lは、27日にアウェイで2位の三菱重工浦和レッズレディース(勝ち点29)と対戦し、0-2で敗れた。 コンパクトな守備ブロックで浦和を苦しめた新潟L。スタートポジションは最前線、前半途中からは左ウイングに回った石淵は、守備ではパスコースに制限を掛けながら中央を閉め、攻撃でも裏抜けを中心にボールの引き出し役として奮闘した。 試合を終えては「浦和さんの個人の能力の高さ、強さだったり速さだったりが(自分たちに)足りないなと感じました」と、浦和との差を痛感しながらも、悲観的になるのではなく、「ある程度相手にもやらせてなかったですし、こちらもこう距離感、全体的なバランスも悪くはなかったと思います」と、狙い通りに戦えた時間帯の手ごたえも口にしている。 8分のシュートこそ力なく終わったものの、19分には石田千尋のスルーパスで左ポケットを取り、好機を演出。後半開始直後の園田瑞貴へのワンツーや、追加タイム1分の左をえぐってのクロスなど、ゴールに近づくプレーを披露している。 縦への仕掛けや裏抜けには確かな自信を掴みつつ、「FWですし、もっとゴールへの怖さを出していかないと。やはり点を決めないと勝てないスポーツなので、惜しいシュートが自分自身もなかったので、そこが課題かなと思いました」と、さらに自らに矢印を向けた言葉を残す。 「対峙した時に、もう一個ゴリっと中に行ける、(相手を)抑えられる部分が足りないなとすごく感じました。そこがあれば、もう一個中に運んでシュートまで持っていくことや、キープして味方が上がってくるのを待つこともできると思うので」 川澄奈穂美のスルーパスに反応した32分のシーン。瞬間は、石川璃音の数歩前に出ていた状態だったが、腕も使いながらうまく体を入れ込まれて対応されてしまった。「やっぱり強いなと感じた」場面でも、引けを取らないような一対一の力強さも、仕掛けのバリエーションとともに、追求していきたいと考えだ。 浦和戦までの直近4試合で、新潟Lは3勝1分け。全試合無失点の堅守を誇った一方で、得点数は「3」。3勝はいずれも1-0の勝利だった。 石淵の言葉を借りれば、「点を決めないと勝てないスポーツ」において、攻撃と守備のバランスをどのように取っていくのか。 「守備は本当に前線からも求められている部分です。ただ、そこを意識しすぎて、攻撃に移った時にFWがなかなか高い距離にいなくてボールが保持できないことが、結構これまで多かったので、今日の試合の入りからは、なるべく味方がボール奪った時に頂点にいられるように意識していました。まずチームに求められている部分と、とはいえ、やはり前線での起点や、攻撃にできるようなポジションにいないと、なかなか前に進むのが難しいと思うので、そこのバランスは、自分自身も取りながらやっているところです」 中2日、中3日の連戦が続き、疲労が蓄積している状態でも、新潟Lが勇敢に戦ったのは誰の目にも明らか。その上で、今後もタイトル争いへ食らいついていくためには、最終局面での質をどこまで高めていけるかがカギになりそうだ。 ※選手の名前表記に誤りがありましたので、修正させていただきます。 大変失礼いたしました。(2024/03/29 13:00) 2024.03.28 21:10 Thu

メッシ 大好きなマテ茶のストローは7万円超えの特別仕様

メッシと妻は30年来の仲、幼馴染の2人が結ばれW杯で優勝するまで

マキシ・ロペスが元妻ワンダ・ナラとディナーに…かつてイカルディと不倫され離婚も「幸せであり続けて欲しい」

21世紀の出場試合数ランキング発表! 首位は1145試合のC・ロナウド、トップ10に日本人選手がランクイン

54歳バティストゥータ氏がチャリティーマッチでゴール!4年前には左足首を人工関節に置換

元アルゼンチン代表FWのガブリエル・バティストゥータ氏が久々のゴールを決めた。 現役時代、1991年から2000年まで在籍したフィオレンティーナで168ゴールを挙げた往年の名ストライカーのバティストゥータ氏。アルゼンチン代表としてもワールドカップ(W杯)で通算10得点をマーク。リオネル・メッシに抜かれるまでの代表記録であり、そのうちの1つは1998年のフランスW杯で日本から決めたものだ。 2005年の現役引退後はサッカー界から離れて畜産を営み、建設会社を経営、ポロの選手としての活動なども行っていたバティストゥータ氏だが、現役時代の酷使の影響で関節の痛みに苦しみ、2019年には左足首を人工関節にする手術も受けていた。 そこから4年が経過し、54歳を迎えたバティストゥータ氏だが、足はかなり回復しているようだ。 バティストゥータ氏は、イタリアのトスカーナの洪水被害を支援するためのチャリティーマッチに出場。もちろんストライカーとして出場すると、26分にはボックス外から芸術的なミドルシュートでゴール。さらに48分には味方のシュートのこぼれ球を頭で押し込んだ。 試合後、バティストゥータ氏はインスタグラムを更新。ゴールの動画ともに、「ゴールは大好きだが、最も重要なことはフィレンツェ近郊の洪水被害者と連帯する試合に参加することだった」とコメントしている。 <span class="paragraph-title">【動画】久々のバティゴール!</span> <span data-other-div="movie"></span> <blockquote class="instagram-media" data-instgrm-captioned data-instgrm-permalink="https://www.instagram.com/p/Cz3clL-MXVF/?utm_source=ig_embed&amp;utm_campaign=loading" data-instgrm-version="14" style=" background:#FFF;
