今夏に移籍騒動がありながら、チームに残留したロナウド。しかし、エリク・テン・ハグ新監督が就任した今季は序列が下がると、10月の試合では出場拒否および無断退席によって一時トップチーム追放処分を科されるなど、ベテランらしからぬ問題行動が目立っていた。
11月中旬にはイギリスのテレビ『TalkTV』のインタビューでクラブの内部批判を展開。これを受けて、クラブは「しかるべき措置の開始」を明らかにし、22日に契約解除を発表した。
カタール・ワールドカップ(W杯)後の去就に注目が集まるロナウドだが、アメリカ『CBC』はサウジアラビアのアル・ナスルが同選手にオファーを送ったと報道。7500万ドル(約104億円)もの年俸で3年契約が提示されているようだ。
また、『CBC』によれば、現在国内のライバルであるアル・ヒラルをはじめ中東の他のクラブもロナウド獲得に関心を寄せている中、アル・ナスルはすでに今夏から接触している模様。代理人との幅広い話し合いを通して、交渉は比較的進んでいると見られており、同選手の最終判断を待つ段階まで来ているようだ。

“J2の誇り”ACLを戦う甲府を他クラブのサポーターも後押し! 集結しての応援に篠田善之監督「感謝しかありません」」
