サウジアラビアのアル・ナスルは23日、フェネルバフチェから元ブラジル代表MFルイス・グスタボ(35)をフリートランスファーで獲得したことを発表した。契約期間は2023年6月30日までの1年となるが、さらなる延長オプションが付随している。
これまでコリンチャンス、ホッフェンハイム、バイエルン、ヴォルフスブルク、マルセイユなどでプレーしたルイス・グスタボは、2019年にフェネルバフチェへ完全移籍した。
ここまで公式戦97試合に出場し、その経験とリーダーシップを買われてゲームキャプテンを務めるなど、中心選手として活躍していた。
その百戦錬磨の守備的MFは、マルセイユ時代に指導を受けたルディ・ガルシア監督が新監督に就任したサウジアラビアの名門へ移籍することになった。
なお、アル・ナスルは今夏にナポリを退団したコロンビア代表GKダビド・オスピナをすでに獲得していた。
