今回の代表活動では多くの選手がコンディション不良を理由に招集を辞退。そんななか、リバプールでも存在感を増すカーティス・ジョーンズが先発し、83分にはMFモーガン・ギブス=ホワイトの折り返しから巧みなヒールで代表初ゴールを記録した。

U-21イングランド代表でもともに戦ったリー・カーズリー暫定監督の起用に応えたカーティス。試合後には華々しい代表デビューを喜んでいる。

「足を引っ張るつもりかと」遠藤航のライバル、不出来のマク・アリスターに元イングランド代表DFが苦言…クロップ監督も「準備ができていなかった」とチームに不満

フレッチャーの16歳息子2人、世代別代表でスコットランドとイングランドを行ったり来たり…協会どうしが火花
