ワールドカップ(W杯)予選がいよいよスタートするヨーロッパ。初戦に臨むイングランド代表だが、初戦から外れる3名が決定した。

トーマス・トゥヘル監督が就任したイングランド代表。21日にアルバニア代表との試合で、2026年北中米W杯の欧州予選がスタートする。

トゥヘル監督にとっての初陣となり、欧州予選の初戦という大事な試合となる一戦。26名の選手を招集していたが、ベンチ入りは23名となるため、3名が外れることとなる。

アルバニア戦に向けた記者会見でトゥヘル監督はメンバー外の3名を発表。GKアーロン・ラムズデール(サウサンプトン)、MFモーガン・ギブス=ホワイト(ノッティンガム・フォレスト)、DFジャレル・クアンサー(リバプール)が外れることとなった。ギブス=ホワイトは当初招集されていなかったが、MFコール・パーマー(チェルシー)が不参加となったために追加招集されていた。

また、キャプテンは引き続きFWハリー・ケイン(バイエルン)が務めることが決定している。

北中米W杯の欧州予選組み合わせ決定! 12カ国+POの4カ国が出場権獲得、来年3月からスタート【2026年北中米W杯欧州予選】
