昨シーズンまでリバプールでプレーしたクロアチア代表DFデヤン・ロブレンが、クロアチアの国民を助ける動きを見せた。クロアチアでは29日、首都のザグレブ近郊で、マグニチュード6.4の地震が発生した。
この地震により、少なくとも7名の命が奪われ、死者はさらに増える可能性があるとのこと。建物も倒壊し、12歳の少女も命を落としたという。
新型コロナウイルス(COVID-19)に見舞われ、世界的な危機に陥った2020年も終わりを迎えようとする中での悲劇。この地震では、隣国のセルビアやボスニア・ヘルツェゴビナでも感じられたという。
そんな中、ロブレンが自身が所有するホテルを貸し出すと提案。自身のインスタグラム(dejanlovren06)で呼びかけた。
「一時的に宿泊施設を必要とする場合は、僕のチームに連絡してください」
なお、チェルシーのクロアチア代表MFマテオ・コバチッチも支援を約束している。

夫には早く引退してほしい!?モドリッチと妻の仲良しエピソード
