超ワールドサッカーでは2022年11月、カタール・ワールドカップ(W杯)の開催にあわせて、「Yahoo!ニュース」を通じて、2000人の「Yahoo!クラウドソーシングユーザー」を対象にアンケートを実施した。7大会連続7度目の出場となった日本代表は、史上初のベスト8進出を目指す中、初戦のドイツ代表戦では世界を驚かせる逆転勝利を収め、目標に向かって大きな一歩を歩み出した。
グループステージ突破に向け、大事な一戦となるコスタリカ代表戦を前に、今大会での活躍を期待する選手について様々な角度からアンケート調査を実施した。
まず、今大会は初出場の選手が19名と多い日本代表だが、初戦で勝利に導くゴールを決めた堂安律(フライブルク)、そして浅野拓磨(ボーフム)も初出場で初ゴールを決めた。
その堂安は初出場の中で期待する選手として3番手の7.1%の支持。浅野は2.2%となっていた。
一方、W杯経験者で期待する選手は36.5%を集めた長友佑都(FC東京)が1位。2位は守備の要でありキャプテンの吉田麻也(シャルケ)で17.8%だった。なお、3位はデュエルキングとしてドイツ戦でも活躍した遠藤航(シュツットガルト)の14%となっている。

「跳びすぎてる」「ぶっ飛んでるな」上田綺世の衝撃ジャンプを選手目線から捉えた映像が反響「より高さがわかる」
