今シーズン限りで現役を引退する横浜FCの元日本代表MF中村俊輔が、カタール・ワールドカップ(W杯)を解説する。
26年間の現役生活に別れを告げ、先日は引退会見も行った中村。シーズンは終了し、スパイクを脱ぐことを決断はしたものの、チームのトレーニングは続いており、自身もまだ参加していることを明かしていた。
その中村だが、早速新たな舞台に挑戦。「フジテレビ系FIFAワールドカップ カタール2022」のスペイシャル解説に就任したという。
中村は全7試合を担当するとのこと。グループステージの4試合、そして決勝トーナメントの3試合を担当する。決勝トーナメントでは、日本代表が勝ち上がれば、試合を担当することとなる。
引退会見では「サッカーには携わっていく」と口にしていたが、ピッチ外での活躍も早速楽しめそうだ。
