ピアニストのエミ・ギルバートさんがNWSLの試合前に生演奏を披露。試合後にはなでしこジャパンのMF杉田妃和とも交流を行った。 エミ・ギルバートさんは、ロックバンド「MR. なでしこジャパン勢ら4名も追加!EAが『FIFA23』内NWSL選手のレーティングを公開、日本女子トップは?

英メディアがWEリーグの若手をピックアップ!なでしこ選出の藤野や石川含む「5人のライジングスター」

「年齢とか全く関係ない」なでしこDF高橋はなはリーダーの自覚も芽生える、元FWとして弱点のセットプレーからのゴールにも自信「絶対に点を決めたい」

なでしこジャパンのDF高橋はな(三菱重工浦和レッズレディース)が、国内でのトレーニングキャンプを終えた手応えと、この先に待つパリ・オリンピックのアジア2次予選に向けた意気込みを語った。 なでしこジャパンは、17日から国内でトレーニングキャンプを実施。招集メンバーのうち国内でプレーする選手と、海外組ではポートランド・ソーンズFC(アメリカ)の杉田妃和が参加した。 26日にインド女子代表戦でスタートするパリ・オリンピック予選。ウズベキスタンで集中開催される予選は、29日のウズベキスタン女子代表戦、11月1日のベトナム女子代表戦と3連戦で行われる。 国内キャンプを終えた高橋。海外組がいない今回の合宿を終え「アジアの予選に向けてのチームの積み上げと、チームとしての戦術を今いるメンバーで確認して、大会に向かって行こうということでみんなでコンディションも上げられたと思います」と振り返った。 通常であればDF熊谷紗希、DF南萌華(共にローマ)がいるものの、今回は国内組だけとなったなか、この日は4バックでビルドアップのトレーニングも行っていた。 「守備のところもそうですし、ボールを私たちが長く持てることが予想される中で、ビルドアップの共通認識はミーティングでも実戦でもやりました」とコメント。連係は高めているという。 また、リーダーシップについても「いつも(熊谷)紗希さんであったり、(南)萌華がいる状況の中での後ろの統率というのは、次に誰かしらがやらなければいけないということで、良い先輩たちから学んでいるので、自分が次に責任を持ってやらなければいけないと感じています」とコメント。「年齢とか全く関係なく、試合に出る選手がやる必要があると思うので、練習から、そして試合ではよりやっていかなければいけないと思います」と、リーダーとしての自覚も芽生えているという。 格下との対戦となるだけに、日本はボールを保持する時間が増え、攻撃に割く時間も多くなることが予想される。守備陣としては難しい戦いにもなるが「攻めている時間が長くなるかもしれないですが、その中での一発のカウンターやリスクマネジメントはより気を引き締める必要があると思いますし、セットプレーとか一発のチャンスでやられないための完璧な準備をする必要が後ろはあると思います」と警戒。「後ろが少しでも気を抜けばゲームとしても締まらないと思うので、そこは後ろの選手が一番集中して気持ちを入れていけばゲームも締まると思うので、次につながると思います」と、しっかりと集中力を保って戦いたいとした。 この日はセットプレーやスローインからの攻撃の確認も行った中、高橋は守備で良い動きを見せただけでなく、攻撃でも豪快なゴールを決めるなど良い動きを見せていた。 「W杯の振り返りの1つで、セットプレーからの私たちの失点もそうですし、得点が取れなかったというところで、もっともっと精度を高められるという話がありました」と語る高橋。「サッカーでセットプレーからの得点が重要であることはわかっているので、そういうところでは自分も常に狙っているので、チャンスがあればどんな時でもゴールを狙っています。絶対に点を決めたいですね」と、元FWとしての血も騒いでしまうようだが、ゴールにも期待がかかる。 その高橋は、オーストラリア&ニュージーランド女子ワールドカップ(W杯)前に右ヒザ前十字じん帯損傷の重傷を負ってしまった。それでも回復に努め、なんとかメンバー入り。試合にも出場を果たしていた。 現在の状態については「その時よりはコンディションも徐々に上がっているとは思います」と語る高橋。「あとはやれるかやれないか。自分次第というところは変わらないです」と語り、状況と相談しながらも、しっかりやっていきたいとした。 2023.10.22 20:20 Sun
