久保効果が見込めないU-20日本代表/六川亨の日本サッカー見聞録
今週始めの5月13日、U-20日本代表が流通経済大と練習試合を実施した。「GKは2人、フィールドは11人。プレーできる人間が限られていた」と影山雅永監督が言うように、週末のリーグ戦で出場機会がなかった選手を中心にして試合に臨んだ。それでも90分間で5-0と圧勝したが、正直物足りなさを感じたものだ。 それというのも今シーズンはFC東京で久保建英のスーパープレーを見ているからだ。ドリブル突破はもちろんのこと、彼のパスセンスが非凡であることは、先週末の磐田戦でも証明した。後半28分に右サイドのスペースに出したパスの意外性に、スタンドはどよめいたものだ。 見ていて「そこに出すか」と驚きを禁じ得なかった。残念ながら球足が長く室屋成は追いつけなかったが、その後にペナルティーエリア左の矢島輝一に出したパスは、矢島自身が来るとは思わず反応できなかったほどだ。 改めてU-20日本代表に久保がいたら、ポーランドでも世界の記者やファンに驚きをもたらすだろうと残念でならない。 そして“久保効果”はその他にもある。現在J1リーグで首位を走るFC東京の長谷川健太監督は、小川諒也や岡崎慎ら若手先週の台頭に“久保効果”を指摘する。 「若手が変わったのはタケ(久保)の存在が大きいですね。J1リーグでプレーしている姿を目の当たりにして、触発されていると思います。渡辺も1年目で試合に出てやっているし、岡崎もどん底に落ちて這い上がってきた。平川もそれを見ていて短い出場時間でしたがプレーしました」と“久保効果”を口にした。 同じことは2年前のU-20W杯の韓国大会でも当てはまる。当時15歳の久保に刺激を受け、堂安律(当時G大阪)や岩崎悠人(当時京都)らは「自分らも頑張らないと」と奮起したものだ。15歳という若さにもかかわらず、浮かれることなく、勝負に真剣に打ち込んでいた。 さて、その久保だが、長谷川監督によると、関係者から「日本代表に招集したいのでポーランドでのU-20W杯には招集しない」と連絡があったものの、その後は何の連絡もないそうだ。 ファンが一番気にしているのは、久保がどの大会に招集されるか、ということだろう。6月1日から始まるトゥーロン国際大会のU-22日本代表なのか、それとも6月5日と9日のキリンチャレンジ杯なのか、さらには6月14日から始まるコパ・アメリカなのか。 JFA(日本サッカー協会)は、U-20日本代表のメンバー発表の際に、上記のそれぞれの大会について、どう臨むのか基本的なスタンスを発表するべきだった。しかし久保と安部裕葵を外した理由を問われ、関塚隆技術委員長は「今日は世界大会に臨む21名の発表です。このメンバーと監督にフォーカスを与えて欲しい」と質問には答えず、「全カテゴリーが1つの目標に向かってしっかりと進んでいく。サムライブルーに到達するために、監督、技術委員会、JFAは1つになって考え、選手を成長させていく。共通理解を持って進んでいることを説明したい」と、抽象的な説明でお茶を濁した。 これでは、海外組と国内組も含め、日本代表もU-22日本代表も、選手の招集がうまく進んでいないと勘ぐられても仕方がないだろう。大迫勇也の所属するブレーメンは、コパ・アメリカはもちろん、今年12月の東アジアE-1選手権(韓国)と来年の東京五輪にも招集を拒否すると発表したそうだ。 Jクラブも近い将来、もしかしたらブレーメンら海外クラブのように、選手の代表招集を拒否する日が来るのかもしれない。 2019.05.16 17:45 Thu

鎌田が原口に“強烈”いじり「元気君は言って30歳ですよ」「つい最近までど金髪でしたから」

ブラジル人Jリーガーがネイマールやヴィニシウスら“現役セレソン”と肩組みショット披露!「また会えて嬉しいよ兄弟」

「正解を選択するのではなく、自分の選択を正解にする」長友佑都が改めて心境、今後は「感情たちと会話しながら決めたい」

ヘンクがFC東京FW熊田直紀のレンタル移籍加入を発表、セカンドチームに所属が決定「成長して帰ってきます」
