1年半ぶりに鹿島アントラーズへの復帰が発表されたDF安西幸輝が、メディアのオンライン取材で移籍の経緯や意気込みを語った。安西は19日、ポルティモネンセからの完全移籍加入が発表。1年半ぶりに鹿島のユニフォームに袖を通した。チームに合流して2日目を迎えた安西。久々に鹿島に戻っての心境は「2年ぶりに帰ってきてエンブレムを見たときに、また鹿島に帰ってきたんだなという実感と、鹿島独特の雰囲気があるので、早くチームに慣れたいと思います」とコメント。この1年半での変化については「僕が居た時に居た選手も何人かいますし、新しい選手もいます。練習からしっかり厳しいのは鹿島アントラーズというチームなので、そういう雰囲気は(三竿)健斗だったり、(土居)聖真くんだったりが作っているので、僕も身が引き締まる思いで練習をやっています」と、鹿島らしさをすでに感じていると語った。今回の移籍の経緯については「今年26歳になって、ポルトガルでサッカーをするか、日本に戻ってやるかを考えたときに、アントラーズのために戦いたいと僕は思っていました」とコメント。「もうちょっと頑張ってステップアップして鹿島に帰ってくるイメージでしたが、少し早くなってしましましたが、あと1年後にワールドカップがありますし、Jリーグでしっかり活躍して、アントラーズで活躍して、ワールドカップにも行きたいですし、アントラーズの力にもなりたいので帰ってきました」と語り、来年に控えるカタール・ワールドカップを目指しての復帰になると語った。ポルトガルで2シーズンを過ごしポルティモネンセでは60試合に出場し1ゴール2アシスト。試合にも出場しポルトガルのサッカーを経験してきた安西は、ヨーロッパでのステップアップをしたかったと語った。「5大リーグにステップアップしたかったですけど、やっぱりポルトガルの4チームがすごく魅力的だったので、そのチームに行ければ一番良かったです」「なかなかそういう下位のヨーロッパは厳しい環境なので、すごく自分としても情けない気持ちもありますが、鹿島アントラーズに入団が決まったので、全部鹿島に捧げたいと思います」鹿島からの話は「ポルトガルのシーズンが終わってからどうするのかと話をもらった」と語った安西。「2年間ポルトガルでやって、今年ステップアップができなければ、僕の中では考えようかなという年でした」と自身の身の振りを考えるところだったという。「その時に連絡が来て、正直な話を伝えました。ポルトガルでもう一回やりたいという気持ちもあるし、2年でステップアップできなかったから潔く日本に戻ることも考えていますと伝えました」と素直な気持ちをクラブに伝えたところ「クラブから『俺たちはいつでも待っているから、納得できる答えが出るまで考えて、返事を頂戴』と言われました。その言葉が凄くありがたかったです」と語り、クラブが待ってくれたということを明かした。鹿島でプレーしたのは1年半。そのなかで鹿島のためにプレーしたいと思われたものについては「1年半しか最初居ませんでしたが、色々な経験をさせてもらったし、大きく成長させてもらいました。クラブ・ワールドカップやACL優勝とか、自分が日本代表になれたのも鹿島アントラーズのおかげだったので、そういう成長させてもらった分、これからしっかり恩返ししないといけないと思っているので、自分が持っているものを鹿島に全部捧げたいなと思います」とコメント。キャリアにおいて鹿島での1年半が大きかったと語った。その鹿島では背番号「2」を背負う。鹿島の2番はこれまでジョルジーニョ、名良橋晃、内田篤人とそれぞれ代表チームでもサイドバックを務めた選手たちが着用。鹿島のサイドバックとしての大きな重圧もある番号だ。その背番号2については、内田から連絡があったことを明かした安西。「鹿島の2番は安西として、お前が2番という背番号を背負って、次託したいと思う選手が出て来るまでつけろ」と言われたとのこと。最初は嫌だと断ったそうだが「篤人くんの次に誰がつけるとなったら他の人には譲りたくなかったです」と、他の選手につけられるのは嫌だったと語った。その中で改めて2番をつけることに決めた安西。「自分なりに帰って来る覚悟がこの背番号だと思いますし、この2番という思いが込められた番号はアントラーズファンもサッカー関係者もみんな知っていると思うので、僕なりの覚悟で2番をつけることにしました」と語り、決意を表す番号でもあるとした。安西は全てを鹿島に捧げると語ったが、その先にあるのは来年のワールドカップだ。昨年10月の欧州組のみの代表活動には呼ばれたものの、今年3月、6月の活動には招集されていない。「ポルトガルでも試合に出てなかったわけではなく、ずっと試合には出ていたので、そこは悔しい部分がありましたけど、鹿島のサイドバックで2番をつけたら注目度が高いのもわかっています。そこで活躍することが代表への1番の近道だと思いますし、鹿島のためになると思っているので、まずは2番という数字は覚悟の現れだと思うので、それを見てもらえればと思います」そのためにはまずはポジション争いが待つ安西。「みんなサイドバックの選手は良い選手が多いので、僕も色んなところを吸収して学びながら、みんなで切磋琢磨してポジション争いしたいですし、負ける気は無いので、そこはしっかり僕も結果を出して頑張りたいです」と、しっかりとポジションを奪いたいと語った。最後に鹿島サポーターへ「コンディションをしっかり上げて、またみなさんの前で戦えるようにまずコンディション作りからして、ピッチで躍動感を持ってやりたいと思います。応援よろしくお願いいたします」と意気込んだ。 2021.07.21 21:45 Wed

2020年引退の内田篤人、曽ヶ端準、野沢拓也が「アントラーズ功労賞」を受賞…通算21人

スイス代表が招集発表! ジャカやザカリア、リカルド・ロドリゲスらを順当に選出《ユーロ2024予選》
