ノースカロライナ・カレッジに所属するU-19日本女子代表FW松窪真心が、リーグ戦でも初ゴールをマークした。

松窪は7月にマイナビ仙台レディースから期限付き移籍でアメリカのナショナル・ウィメンズ・サッカーリーグ(NWSL)、ノースカロライナへ加入。

現地時間9日に行われたNWSLチャレンジカップ決勝では勝利を手繰り寄せる追加点を挙げ、MVPにも選出。インタビュー映像は大きな話題を呼んでいた。

タイトル獲得後の初戦となるリーグ戦第19節、ノースカロライナは敵地でオーランド・プライドと対戦。前半で2点のビハインドを負う苦しい展開を強いられるが、三浦成美とともに先発出場した松窪が52分に反撃ののろしを上げた。

ボックス左角付近で三浦が絡み、左サイドの深い位置からエミリー・フォックスがマイナスに折り返すと、ヘイリー・ホプキンズがスルーして松窪が左足のフィニッシュ。ダイレクトでDFの股を抜く一撃を沈めた。

松窪にとってはこれがリーグ戦での初ゴールに。ただ、依然としてリードを許す展開のため、喜びも控えめに急ぎ足で帰陣し、キックオフに備えた。

松窪と三浦はともに75分までプレー。さらなる反攻といきたいノースカロライナだったが、その3分後にマリア・バークリーが退場となり、万事休す。リーグ戦では5試合未勝利となり、4位に後退した。

なお、同じくノースカロライナに所属する小林里歌子はメンバー外となっている。

「A代表でデビューしたい」U-20女子W杯で準優勝、なでしこ初招集のGK大熊茜がポジション奪取へ意気込み「勝負する気持ちで来た」

「ずっと仲良しでいいですね」「最高すぎる」堂安律もダブルピース! ハワイを共に楽しんだ相手は10年来の仲間「素敵です」

「漫画かよ」「ドラマがあるなぁ」“救世主”三笘薫と中村憲剛氏の13年前の姿にファンも感激「エモすぎる」
