話題の“コカ・コーラ”片手にチームを熱く鼓舞!フランスを破ったスイス主将ジャカに注目集まる

ユーロ2020でまたしてもコカ・コーラが大きな注目を集めた。

スイス代表は28日、ラウンド16でフランス代表と対戦。ワールドカップ王者相手にラスト10分から2点差を追いつき、延長、PK戦の末に勝利。スイス史上初のベスト8進出を決めた。

この試合でキャプテンマークを巻いてフル出場したスイス代表MFグラニト・ジャカだが、120分の戦いを終えてPK戦に向けてチームを鼓舞する場面では意外なものを手にしていた。

ジャカがスタッフから手渡され、口にしていたのはコカ・コーラのペットボトルだ。大会中に金髪に染め上げたジャカはそれを半分以上飲むと、円陣の中心でチームメイトたちを鼓舞。PK戦に向けてチームの士気を高めていた。

すると、この檄が効いたのかスイス代表は5人全員が成功。なお、コーラを飲んだジャカはPKを蹴っていない。そして、ジャカはこの試合のスター・オブ・ザ・マッチにも選ばれている。

今大会でコカ・コーラが注目を集めるのは初めてではない。ポルトガル代表FWクリスティアーノ・ロナウドが、公式会見で目の前にあった大会スポンサーであるコカ・コーラのボトルを視界から遠ざけて、水が入ったペットボトルを手に持ち、ソフトドリンクを否定するかのような行動を取ったことで大きな話題に。そこから多くの選手たちの中で似たような事態が起こっていた。

そのため、SNSではC・ロナウドと関連づける声も多いが、いずれにせよ今回のジャカの行動がコカ・コーラ社に大きな広告効果をもたらすことは間違いないだろう。

2025年の女子ユーロ開催国がスイスに決定!

欧州サッカー連盟(UEFA)は4日、2025年に開催されるUEFA女子ユーロの開催国がスイスに決定したことを発表した。 2023年大会の開催国を巡っては、スイスのほかに、4カ国共同開催を狙う北欧のデンマーク、フィンランド、ノルウェー、スウェーデンやフランス、ボーランドが立候補。 UEFAは4日にポルトガルのリスボンで理事会を開き、女子ユーロ2025の開催国を決める投票を実施。一次投票では、北欧共同開催に4票、ポーランドに4票、スイスに4票、フランスに1票という結果に。その後、4票で並んだ三カ国から最終投票に進む上位二カ国を決める二次投票が行われると、スイス6票、北欧共同開催4票、ポーランド3票という結果に。最終投票では、スイスが9票を集めた中、北欧共同開催は4票にとどまり、スイスでの開催が決定。なお、女子ユーロ2025は2025年夏にスイス国内の8つの会場で開催されるとのことだ。 2023.04.05 07:15 Wed
