国際サッカー連盟(FIFA)は、2日に行われたカタール・ワールドカップ(W杯)欧州予選のハンガリー代表vsイングランド代表の試合を調査するようだ。この試合では、イングランド代表が0-4で勝利していたが、イングランド代表の選手に対して人種差別的な虐待行為が確認されていた。
イギリス『BBC』によれば、対象となっていたのはドルトムントのMFジュード・ベリンガムとマンチェスター・シティのFWラヒーム・スターリングとのことだ。
ハンガリーでは、ユーロ2020の試合で人種差別やその他の差別行為が確認されており、欧州サッカー連盟(UEFA)管轄の試合で3試合を無観客で行う処分が下されていた。
しかし、W杯予選はFIFAの管轄下であったために観客が入っていたが、再び差別行為が起きてしまった。
イングランド代表の選手たちは、人種差別に抗議するため、試合前にヒザをついていたが、これにはブーイングが浴びせられていた。
試合中には紙コップやボトルが投げ込まれ、3点目が決まった時には発炎筒も投げ込まれていた。
なお、イギリスのボリス・ジョンソン首相もこの件について自身のツイッターで投稿。激しく非難した。

イギリス長者番付が発表! アスリートで1位はベッカム氏の記録を更新

レアル関心説浮上のスターリング、シティにコミットか 選手代理人が主張

元ユナイテッドSDがFAに復帰…新設のチーフ・フットボール・オフィサーに就任
元マンチェスター・ユナイテッドのスポーツディレクター(SD)、ダン・アシュワース氏が、イングランドサッカー協会(FA)に復帰することになった。 FAは14日、アシュワース氏が新設のチーフ・フットボール・オフィサーに就任すると発表。同職ではイングランド代表の男女チームと緊密に連携していくことになるという。 昨年12月にユナイテッドのSDをわずか5カ月で退任したアシュワース氏。それ以前にはブライトン&ホーヴ・アルビオン、ニューカッスルで手腕を発揮しており、国内外のクラブからのオファーも想定されていたが、2018年まで6年間に渡って勤務していたFAに復帰することになった。 アシュワース氏は、セント・ジョージズ・パークの再開発を監督し、2028年に開催されるユーロ2028の共催に向け、競技施設とピッチの改善を目指す。 さらに、この新役職は、男子フットボールのテクニカルディレクターであるジョン・マクダーモット氏と緊密に連携するとともに、FAの最高経営責任者(CEO)であるマーク・ブリンガム氏とも連携する。 また、イングランド国内の地元出身のコーチの育成にも携わる予定だという。 2025.05.15 16:30 Thu

北中米W杯の欧州予選組み合わせ決定! 12カ国+POの4カ国が出場権獲得、来年3月からスタート【2026年北中米W杯欧州予選】

「可愛い!」ペガサスに乗って宙を舞うイングランド代表FWサカの衝撃写真が話題沸騰「この男を愛さないわけにはいかない」

フランスW杯の戦犯が…ベッカム史上最高のFKから20年「特別な瞬間だった」
