C・ロナウドはゴールのチャンスを逃し頭を抱える…

アル・ナスルのポルトガル代表FWクリスティアーノ・ロナウドが、AFCチャンピオンズリーグ・エリート(ACLE)敗退を受けてコメントした。

4月30日、ACLE準決勝でアル・ナスルは川崎フロンターレと対戦した。

共に初の優勝を目指して戦った準決勝。無料招待客も含めて、アル・ナスルは完全アウェイの雰囲気を作ったが、試合は思わぬ展開に。10分に伊藤達哉のゴールで川崎Fが先制すると、28分にサディオ・マネのゴールでアル・ナスルが同点に。しかし41分に大関友翔のゴールが決まり、1-2で川崎Fがリードする。

後半はアル・ナスルが猛攻を仕掛けるが、川崎Fの凌がれると76分には家長昭博にゴールを許し2点差に。87分にアイマン・ヤヒヤ・アーメドが1点を返し、同点を目指して猛攻を仕掛けたが、最後まで追いつけずに2-3で敗戦となった。

C・ロナウドは後半に直接FKのチャンスを何度も得たが、ゴールネットを揺らせず。最終盤には見事に壁を抜いたシュートをGK山口瑠伊にセーブされるなど、結果を残せなかった。

試合後、C・ロナウドは自身のSNSを更新。クラブとして悲願のACLE制覇を逃した中、ファンに感謝した。
