アストン・ビラにファン猛反発…リバプールやシティよりはるかに高額なCLチケット「40年間待ち侘びて搾取される」

財政破綻したバーミンガム市に本拠地を置くアストン・ビラ

アストン・ビラがチャンピオンズリーグ(CL)ホームゲームのチケットを高く設定しすぎだとして、ファンから猛反発を喰らっている。欧州の各メディアが伝える。

ウナイ・エメリ体制で急速に強くなったビラは今季、前身のチャンピオンズカップ以来となる41年ぶりのCL参戦。40代未満のビラサポーターとって人生初となる贔屓クラブのCLだ。

しかし、各クラブが上限なしに設定できるホームゲーム観戦チケットを巡り、ビラは財政破綻したバーミンガム市に本拠地を置くクラブでありながら高額すぎると不満が続出。

その価格は座席によって3段階で分けられ、101ユーロ(約1万6000円)、112ユーロ(約1万7700円)、115ユーロ(約1万8000円)。

シーズンチケット所有者は割引を受け、それぞれ83ユーロ(約1万3100円)、94ユーロ(約1万4800円)、97ユーロ(約1万5300円)だという。

ビラのプレミアリーグにおけるチケット最低価格が65ユーロ(約1万280円)であることを考慮しても、高めに設定されたCLチケット。

また、リバプールは36〜72ユーロ、マンチェスター・シティは44〜74ユーロと、ビラのCLチケットより格段に安いものとなっている。

ビラのサポーターグループAVSTは「非常に残念です。驚異的な価格に愕然としています。CL出場を40年間待ち続けたファンは罰を受け、搾取されるようです。この世のものではない価格が再考されることを願う」との声明に及んだ。

アストン・ビラがスタジアム改修をスタート、ユーロ2028の会場となり5万人収容に変貌へ
