サウサンプトンは17日、プレミアリーグ開幕節でニューカッスルとのアウェイ戦に臨み、0-1で敗れた。サウサンプトンのDF菅原由勢は前半のみの出場となった。
2季ぶりにプレミア復帰を果たしたサウサンプトンはAZから加入の菅原が[3-5-2]の右MFでスタメンとなった。
昨季7位のニューカッスルに対し、守勢の入りとなったサウサンプトンだったが、10分に先制しかける。FKの流れからスティーブンスがネットを揺らしたが、オフサイドに阻まれた。
それでも27分に数的優位に。ブレレトン・ディアスがシェアに軽く頭で小突かれると、一発レッドカードに。
数的優位となったことで菅原が高い位置を取れるようになったサウサンプトンは41分、菅原の鋭い右クロスに合わせたブレレトン・ディアスのヘディングシュートは枠を捉えきれず。
迎えた後半、菅原を下げたサウサンプトンは開始5分に同点の絶好機。しかし、左クロスに合わせたアームストロングのシュートはゴールライン上でのホールの好クリアに阻まれた。

「おもろすぎる笑」「このコンビ良いわ」仲良しコンビ、久保建英と菅原由勢が弾丸釣り旅行! 久保は船が苦手という意外な一面「船酔いした事ない!と言った1時間後に…」

ミランが南米産の若手2人に注目…プレミアで揉まれる20歳アルカラス&U-20W杯出場中の19歳ミラモン
ミランが若きアルゼンチン人選手2人に注目しているようだ。イタリア『カルチョメルカート』が伝えている。 フランクフルトから日本代表MF鎌田大地(26)、チェルシーから元イングランド代表MFルベン・ロフタス=チーク(27)の獲得に接近しているとされるミラン。いずれもセントラルハーフを本職とする20代中盤の脂が乗った選手だが、同じポジションの補強候補には若い選手も名を連ねているという。 イタリア『トゥットスポルト』いわく、それはサウサンプトンのアルゼンチン人MFカルロス・アルカラス(20)とヒムナスティア・ラ・プラタのU-20アルゼンチン代表MFイグナシオ・ミラモン(19)だ。 アルカラスは母国のラシン・クラブから今年1月にサウサンプトンへ移籍したばかり。チームはチャンピオンシップ(イングランド2部)降格となったが、加入後すぐに定位置を掴み、プレミアリーグ17試合の出場で4得点1アシストを記録している。得意とするのは攻撃的MFだが、インサイドハーフと中盤の底にも対応可能で、サウサンプトンでは2トップの一角や3トップの中央としてもプレーする器用なファンタジスタだ。 ミラモンは自国開催のU-20ワールドカップ(W杯)に出場中の守備的MF。下部組織時代から過ごすヒムナスティアで今年1月にプロ契約を結んだばかりながら、2023シーズンは早くも公式戦16試合に出場している。中盤の底から長短のパスを散らすだけでなく、自らドリブルで駆け上がっていくことも好むいかにも南米選手らしいタレントだ。ミラモンにはマンチェスター・ユナイテッドも関心を寄せているとされる。 現段階でミランによる両者へのアプローチは確認されていないようだが、それぞれ20歳のアルカラスと19歳のミラモン、この名前を覚えておいて損はないかもしれない。 2023.05.22 16:06 Mon

プレミア昇格のサウサンプトン、大きく貢献したシティDFハーウッド=ベリスを完全移籍で獲得…4年契約
プレミアリーグに昇格したサウサンプトンは1日、マンチェスター・シティの元U-21イングランド代表キャプテンのDFテイラー・ハーウッド=ベリス(22)を完全移籍で獲得したことを発表した。 ハーウッド=ベリスは2023-24シーズンはレンタル移籍でサウサンプトンに加わりプレー。チャンピオンシップ(イングランド2部)で40試合に出場し2ゴール3アシストを記録し、プレーオフでも3試合プレー。チームのプレミアリーグ復帰に貢献していた。 シティの下部組織で育ち、ブラックバーン、アンデルレヒト、ストーク・シティ、バーンリーと武者修行を続けており、ファーストチームでは8試合1ゴールに終わっていた。 なお、サウサンプトンは2028年6月30日までの4年契約を結び、プレミアリーグでの戦いで期待がかかる。 サウサンプトンは、日章学園高校のU-19日本代表FW高岡伶颯(17)も来年3月に加入が内定。新シーズンでプレミアリーグに残留できるのか注目が集まる。 2024.07.01 23:35 Mon
