足首負傷のジルーがフランス代表を離脱…ケガは大事に至らずも予防措置

フランスサッカー連盟(FFF)は8日、FWオリヴィエ・ジルー(ミラン)のフランス代表からの離脱を発表した。

ジルーは7日に行われたユーロ2024予選グループB第5節のアイルランド代表戦(2-0で勝利)に先発出場。前半半ばに左クロスに飛び込んだ際、相手DFともつれて左足首を負傷。そのまま負傷交代していた。

試合翌日に行われた精密検査では軽度の捻挫との診断が下されて大事に至らず。ただ、ジルーとディディエ・デシャン監督を含めた話し合いの中、予防的な措置として代表離脱が決定した。

これにより、ジルーは12日に予定されるドイツ代表との国際親善試合を欠場し、一足早く所属クラブのミランに復帰することが決定した。

ジルーは今季開幕から絶好調でセリエA3試合を終えて4ゴールをマーク。3連勝スタートを切ったミランを牽引。そのミランは代表ウィーク明けの16日、同じく3連勝スタートを切ったインテルとのミラノ・ダービーを控える。

W杯準優勝のフランス代表が発表! ムバッペやジルーらに加え3名が初招集、テュラム兄弟が揃うことに《ユーロ2024予選》
