ユーロ予選4連勝中のフランス代表、ケガのコナテに代わってトディボを追加招集

フランスサッカー連盟(FFF)は3日、フランス代表メンバーの変更を発表した。

FFFは、8月31日にユーロ2024予選に臨むフランス代表メンバー23名を発表。リバプールのDFイブラヒマ・コナテを招集していた。

しかし、コナテは筋肉系の問題を抱えており、直近2試合を負傷欠場。ハムストリングの負傷から復帰できていないことを受けて、招集外とすることを決定した。
なお、代わりはニースのDFジャン=クレール・トディボを招集。トディボは2022-23シーズンのリーグ・アンで34試合に出場。UEFAカンファレンス・リーグで9試合に出場していた。

トディボは3月にフランス代表に初招集。6月は招集外となっていたが、まだデビューはしていない。
フランスは、ユーロ2024予選で4連勝。7日にアイルランド代表と対戦し、12日には国際親善試合でドイツ代表と対戦する。

「鶏デカすぎ」「ケンタッキーとのコラボか?」フランス代表の新ユニフォームにはビッグサイズのロゴが採用「巨大すぎない?」
