元スペイン代表MFマタが神戸に完全移籍で加入!背番号「64」、ハンガリー代表MFヴェーチェイに続く助っ人補強でJ1初制覇に加速

ヴィッセル神戸は3日、元スペイン代表MFフアン・マタ(35)が完全移籍で加入することを発表した。背番号は「64」を着用する。レアル・マドリーの下部組織で育ったマタは2007年7月に加入したバレンシアでその名をあげ、スペイン屈指のプレーメーカーとして名を馳せる。

2011年8月にはチェルシーへと完全移籍。2014年1月にはマンチェスター・ユナイテッドへと完全移籍し、プレミアリーグで活躍を続けた。
2022年9月にはガラタサライへと完全移籍したが、1年で退団。現在はフリーの状態となっている。

プレミアリーグで278試合52ゴール63アシスト、ラ・リーガで129試合33ゴール36アシストを記録。チェルシー時代にはチャンピオンズリーグ(CL)、チェルシーとユナイテッドではヨーロッパリーグ(EL)の優勝も経験している。コパ・デル・レイやFAカップでも優勝を経験している。
また、スペイン代表としても41試合で11ゴールを記録し、2010年の南アフリカ・ワールドカップや2012年のユーロ制覇にも貢献していた。

神戸でプレーしていた元スペイン代表FWダビド・ビジャとはバレンシアとスペイン代表で、元スペイン代表MFアンドレス・イニエスタとはスペイン代表でもチームメイトとしてプレーしていた。

神戸は2日にフェレンツヴァーロシュのハンガリー代表MFバーリント・ヴェーチェイ(30)の獲得を発表しており、2人の助っ人ともに悲願のJ1制覇を目指す。

元スペイン代表MFマタが神戸に完全移籍で加入!背番号「64」、ハンガリー代表MFヴェーチェイに続く助っ人補強でJ1初制覇に加速

「マジで来てるのか!」「一目でもいいから会いたい」ダビド・シルバが来日しファン騒然、東京と大阪を楽しむ姿に久保建英も反応「気に入ってもらえるといいな」
