アルゼンチン代表FWリオネル・メッシは一足早く代表活動から抜けるようだ。アルゼンチン『TyC Sports』が伝えた。中国は北京で行われた国際親善試合、15日のオーストラリア代表戦にてキャリア最速となる試合開始後1分19秒でのゴールを挙げたメッシ。2-0で勝利したアルゼンチンは、19日にジャカルタでインドネシア代表との対戦を控えるが、メッシら3選手は先立ってオフに入ると、リオネル・スカローニ監督が明かした。
指揮官はオーストラリア戦後「コンディションは理想的ではなかったし、非常に難しい試合だった。一部の選手は休暇中でFIFAの日程は複雑だった」とコメント。選手の疲労を考慮し、メッシのほか、ニコラス・オタメンディ(ベンフィカ/ポルトガル)、アンヘル・ディ・マリア(ユベントス/イタリア) に休養を与えることを決めた。
「私たちはそれがフェアだと信じている。私の決定であり、選手が私に頼んだわけではない。彼らが休んで家族と一緒にいるのは当然の権利だろう。まぁ、実際のところはみな家に帰りたいだろうが、そうは言わずに我々に帯同してくれている。ありがたいことだよ」
同メディアによると、3名はインドネシアには向かわず、専用機でバルセロナに向かい、その後ブエノスアイレスへと飛ぶ予定とのことだ。

メッシ 大好きなマテ茶のストローは7万円超えの特別仕様

「神と神」メッシとイブラヒモビッチがパリで再会!笑顔での肩組みショットに「今はどんな関係性なんだろ」

プレーはギリギリ? 去就注目のスアレスがボロボロのヒザの状態明かす「試合の前日に薬を3錠飲み、数時間前に注射を打つ」

メッシと妻は30年来の仲、幼馴染の2人が結ばれW杯で優勝するまで

ロナウド崇拝ガルナチョはアルゼンチン代表で浮いている? 先輩パレデスが証言
