スペイン代表GKダビド・ラヤ(27)がブレントフォードとの契約延長拒否について再び口を開いた。イギリス『90min』が伝えている。

今夏のビッグクラブ移籍が囁かれ続けるラヤ。加入4季目を迎えたブレントフォードで不動の正GKに君臨し、今季のプレミアリーグ全23試合に出場しているが、2024年6月までとなっている契約の延長を拒否していることを公言済みだ。

イギリス『ガーディアン』のインタビューではこの件について再び言及。「去年と今年1月に契約延長を断った」と改めて明言した上で、今夏の残留or退団はブレントフォード次第であると語った。

「目の前の試合に集中したいし、将来についてあまり考えたくない。契約を全うしたいと思っているけど、次の夏に何が起こるかなんてわからない。おそらくクラブは僕を売却したいのだろう」

「その価格はクラブが決めること。他のクラブが僕にお金を払ってくれるなら、僕はそのクラブへ行くことになるだろう。僕1人で決められることではなく、特に何も心配していないよ」

ブレントフォードとの契約を遵守する姿勢を示したラヤ。一方でステップアップ願望も隠していない。

「僕には大きな野望がある。ヨーロッパの舞台でプレーすること、タイトル獲得が目標のクラブで戦うこと、そしてヨーロッパの舞台でタイトルを獲ること。いつか、このような試合に自分が出場できる日が来ると信じてるよ」

ラヤにはマンチェスター・ユナイテッド、トッテナム、チェルシー、アトレティコ・マドリーが関心を寄せているとみられている。

21世紀の出場試合数ランキング発表! 首位は1145試合のC・ロナウド、トップ10に日本人選手がランクイン

「これは一体何?」「誰にも似合わない」新たな色を導入したスペイン代表のアウェイユニフォームに驚きの声続出「なんでこの配色に?」

ラ・リーガのテバス会長が再選、4期目を務めることが決定

ラ・リーガは12日、声明を発表しハビエル・テバス会長が再選することを発表した。 2013年からラ・リーガで会長職を務めているテバス会長。12月23日に任期が切れる中、11月23日に新たに選挙を行うための準備として、辞任を表明した。暫定的に辞任し、自身の再選について判断を委ねるとされていた。そんな中12日、ラ・リーガの選挙委員会は、テバス氏の再選に対して疑義を抱くクラブなどはなかったとのこと。これにより、立候補者が1人しかいなかったこともあり、選挙を行わずに再選が決定した。テバス会長は4期目となり、新たに4年間会長職を務めることが決定した。 2023.12.13 13:30 Wed
