FAカップ5回戦の組み合わせが決定した。

32チームによって争われた4回戦では、プレミアリーグで首位をひた走るアーセナルを下したマンチェスター・シティのほか、マンチェスター・ユナイテッド、トッテナムが勝ち上がり、ブライトン&ホーブ・アルビオンも日本代表MF三笘薫の劇的弾で前回王者のリバプールを撃破し16強入りを決めた。

また、7～8日にかけて行われた4回戦再試合では、フルアムや2部のバーンリー、シェフィールド・ユナイテッドに加え、3部のフリートウッド・タウン、4部のグリムズビー・タウンがベスト16進出を決めた。

この結果、再試合に勝利したフルアムとリーズ・ユナイテッドによるプレミア対決など、ベスト16の対戦カードが確定。なお、5回戦は2月28日、3月1日に行われる。今回確定した5回戦組み合わせは以下の通り。

三笘薫、自身のタトゥーを入れたファンとの対面を語る「とても情熱的な人」「プレッシャーもある」

「高価な食べ物はない」ギネス記録樹立、C・ロナウドのあの肉体の秘訣を専属シェフが明かす

「絶対に謝らない」ハーランド父に復讐したロイ・キーンが“報復”タックルを否定

シティ加入のハーランド、マンチェスターにあるポグバ邸を新たな住まいに?
