さらに世間を騒がせたのが、その脅迫グループに実の兄でプロサッカー選手でもあるマティアスの姿が確認されたこと。これはポグバの証言から明らかになっており、そのマティアスは最近、インスタグラムを通じてポグバがフランス代表のチームメイトであるキリアン・ムバッペに魔術師を雇って呪いをかけたと暴露していた。
