日本代表として戦ったチームメイトが、プレシーズンマッチで再会した。23日に行われたプレシーズンマッチでボルシアMGとレアル・ソシエダが対戦した。
ボルシアMGにはマンチェスター・シティからDF板倉滉が、ソシエダにはレアル・マドリーからMF久保建英が所属。共にレンタル移籍で様々なチームでプレーした中、新シーズンからは完全移籍で挑戦する。
試合は1-1の引き分け。板倉はセンターバックでフル出場。久保は後半からトップ下で出場した。
久保は78分にビッグチャンス。マルティンのパスを受け、ボックス内でGKヤン・ゾンマーと一対一になったが、かわそうとしたところを対応されシュートを打てなかった。
短い動画がアップされたが、板倉は開口一番「早くね?シャワー」とツッコミ。久保は板倉とハイタッチしながら、決定機を逸したシーンについて「やっちゃった」と笑顔で話し、「あのGK怖くない?」とコメント。ゾンマーの構えを真似ていた。

「待ってました!」「無理しないで!」足首手術で1カ月離脱の板倉滉が元気な姿、日本代表の仲間もエール

年俸64億円の破格オファー…久保建英がサウジ行き拒否明かす「最も大切なことは最高の選手と対戦し一緒にプレーすること」

「げきあつ」「アツい」久保建英が仲良しの元チームメイトとマッチアップ!試合後にはSNSでも交流「兄弟」
