なでしこジャパンのFW中嶋淑乃(サンフレッチェ広島レジーナ)が24日、メディアのオンライン取材に応対。日本代表デビュー戦を振り返った。E-1サッカー選手権決勝大会に参加しているなでしこジャパンは、19日に行われた韓国女子代表との初戦を2-1で勝利。23日の第2戦チャイニーズ・タイペイ女子代表戦も4-1で勝利を飾り、26日には優勝を懸けて中国女子代表と相まみえる。
なでしこジャパンに初招集された中嶋は、オルカ鴨川時代になでしこリーグ2部の得点王に輝き、昨季から新たに立ち上がったWEリーグのレジーナへと加入した。レジーナは攻撃時に[4-3-3]、守備時に[4-4-2]の形を取るが、その中で中嶋は左のウイングでプレー。昨シーズンは全20試合に出場し、3得点を挙げていた。
特徴的なドリブルを買われて初の代表選出を果たし、チャイニーズ・タイペイ戦では左サイドハーフとしてスタメンで出場。代表デビューも飾った。
「めっちゃ緊張しました」という初陣は前半のみの出場ではあったものの、持ち味は披露。16分の惜しいヘディングに関しては「決めなければいけなかった、もっと練習しなきゃいけない」と語った新鋭ドリブラーは、判断や精度を課題に上げながらも、自身としても一定の手ごたえを感じたようだ。
「自分の特徴がドリブルなのでサイドで持った時の仕掛けはいつも通りできたかなと思っています。(今後は)もっと得点につながるように、ドリブルを生かしたり、仲間とのコンビネーションで起点を作って、アシストだったり得点だったりでチームに貢献できたらいいなと。結果は全然出せていないので、試合に出たら結果を求めてやっていきたいなと思っています」

21世紀の出場試合数ランキング発表! 首位は1145試合のC・ロナウド、トップ10に日本人選手がランクイン
