ラポルタ会長は4日、メンデス氏と夕食を取ったと報道。C・ロナウドの代理人ということもあり、両者の会談は大きな話題となった。
特に、そのC・ロナウドがマンチェスター・ユナイテッドを去りたいと考えているという報道が出ており、メンデス氏が売り込んだのではないかという憶測も飛び交っていた。
ラポルタ会長は、6日に行われたコートジボワール代表MFフランク・ケシエの入団発表でこの件について言及。夕食を共にしたことは認め、移籍市場についての話もしたと認めたが、どの選手について何を話したかを明かすつもりはないとした。
「月曜日(4日)にジョルジュ・メンデスとは夕食をとった。マーケット全般について話をした。アレマニー(フットボールディレクター)は来られなかったが、ジュステ(副会長)は同席した」
メンデス氏との会食は楽しかったようだが、移籍市場が開いている中で、選手について話す気はないとしたラポルタ会長。リスペクトが必要だと語った。

C・ロナウドは破局したら毎月1600万円を支払い? 「妻」と呼んで話題のジョルジーナさんとの間に契約が発覚
