エスパニョールは27日、アラベスを退団するスペイン人FWホセル(32)をフリートランスファーで獲得したことを発表した。契約期間は2025年6月30日までの3年となる。
セルタの下部組織出身のホセルは、2009年にレアル・マドリー・カスティージャに移籍。トップチームでも1試合に出場した。その後、生まれ故郷のドイツに渡り、ホッフェンハイム、フランクフルト、ハノーファーを渡り歩き、ストーク・シティ、ニューカッスルとイングランドでもプレー。2019年にアラベスへ完全移籍した。
アラベスでは3シーズン連続でラ・リーガ二桁ゴールを達成し、今シーズンはキャリアハイとなる37試合14ゴール5アシストと個人としては見事な記録を残した。しかし、クラブは最下位でのセグンダ降格となり、決定力にも優れる192cmの屈強なストライカーは、エスパニョールに新天地を求めた。

ニューカッスル、ストークからFWホセルを獲得

エスパニョールの逸材SBにプレミア複数クラブが関心か

セビージャ退団のレジェスがエスパニョールに加入! キケ新監督と3度目のタッグ
