オーストラリア代表のグラハム・アーノルド監督が、プロトコル違反を謝罪した。オーストラリア『ABC』が伝えた。
しかし、報道によると、アーノルド監督は妻とともにノース・ナラビーンのビーチをマスクを外して歩いている姿が目撃されたとのこと。犬の散歩をしていたとされている。
FFAはこの事実を確認。アーノルド監督に対し、2万5000オーストラリアドル(約220万円)の罰金処分を課したとのこと。アーノルド監督はこの件について謝罪した。
「私はニューサウスウェールズ州の自己隔離プロトコルに従い、家を出るべきではなかったことを受け入れ、隔離期間が終了するまでは自宅にとどまります。この間違いのために生じる制裁も受け入れます」
今回の罰金に関しては、赤十字の洪水救援金に寄付されるとのことだ。
なお、24日に行われる日本戦に関しては、隔離期間終了後、追加で陰性となる必要があるとのことだ。

「観客動員が少ない!」オーストラリア・Aリーグが従業員の半数解雇で事業再編へ…今季の平均観客動員数最多はシドニーFCで「1万4097人」

財務危機のオーストラリア・Aリーグだが…最速で25-26シーズンから男子2部リーグ制導入の動き変わらず

「壮大で記憶に残る」ナイキのPVでムバッペvsロナウジーニョが実現!豪炎寺修也も登場で海外ファン歓喜

観客動員低迷で財政危機のオーストラリア・Aリーグ、男子1部リーグ拡大&2部リーグ創設が引き続き進行
