トッテナムが、ユベントスのスペイン代表FWアルバロ・モラタ(28)の獲得を検討しているようだ。イギリス『サン』がイタリア『カルチョメルカート』をもとに伝えている。
今夏の移籍市場でイングランド代表FWハリー・ケインの退団騒動に揺れたトッテナム。今季はなんとかチームに留めたものの、無冠に終わるようなら来夏の退団はほぼ避けられない。
そこでファビオ・パラティチMD(マネージング・ディレクター)は古巣からの引き抜きを画策。モラタをエース流出に備えた後釜候補に据えているようだ。
モラタは現状でアトレティコ・マドリーからのレンタルとなっており、来夏の契約満了に伴い母国に戻る予定となっている。ただ、ユベントスには3500万ユーロ(約46億円)の買い取りオプションを持っており、トッテナムはそれを考慮した交渉を展開していくとのことだ。
ケインとモラタではストライカーとして実績に大きな差があるが、『サン』は両選手のデータを比較し、代替案になりうると主張している。
一方、90分あたりのアシスト数では、ケインの0.15に対し、モラタは0.25で、チャンスメイクという面では分がある。また、シュート成功率でもケインが18.1%、モラタは17.7%と僅差となっている。
